FIFO (first in/first out) ordering defines the sequence in which claims are reviewed as they are received by the Trust. This ordering is based upon each claim's exigency circumstances as well as when the claim became known, either through a lawsuit in the tort system or a filing with the Trust. Please note that since this ordering is not purely based on the date that a claim was received by the Trust, it is possible for newly filed claims to receive precedence relative to those which were filed sooner.
